Lisa Stone, originator of BlogHer, a online community that creates opportunities for women bloggers, will be leading a talk entitled:

This discussion will focus on the ways in which those who use social media, including blogging, have connected with women-a usually overlooked presence online and how they have missed the boat.
This event is organized and sponsored by the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard Law School as a part of their year-long 10th anniversary celebration.

It was great that Liz Stone took time to come to Cambridge and talk about blogging and politics. I am glad that blogher gives women a voice, and that it is not just for women. I also can't believe that the candidates would not be interviewed by a community of intelligent women who will cast a vote for one of them this year but will take time to go on "The Daily Show" and "SNL"-great shows but it's a distrubing commentary on life today.

Ms. Smith surprised me by revealing that none of the Presidential candidates would agree to a BlogHer video interview. That's 8 million readers they blew off.
