Chicagobloggers is for bloggers from the Chicago area who want to meet face to face. Be sure you add your blog to chicagobloggers.com website and stay tuned to that site, as well as our meetups. Our group is looking to be a clearinghouse for local bloggers and to provide a way for business people, journalists, publishers, or anyone else who wants to contact a blogger or bloggers to do so easily. We aim to keep current with issues that are important to bloggers and be a place where we can discuss those issues.
We meet once a month, with a summer break in August. Most of our meetings are held at Columbia College Chicago in a computer lab so that we can look at blogs, discuss new sites, and help each other out with technical questions.
Bloggers use our group to get help with the "how-to" of blogging. Some have made business-type connections. Other people have made friends who have common interests.
