Advice request: How can I improve my blog

I love my blog, but I've noticed my stats have been pretty static over the last 2 weeks. Traffic spikes on Wed, and is lowest on Sat and Sun. On average, I get between 5000 and 6000 visitors a day. On a bad day, anwhere between 1000 and 3000. Currently, I only have an authority of 8 on technorati and my digg and del.icio.us rankings are pathetic - 5 and 4, respectively.

Can you give me some suggestions for improvement?

I blog about (in this order):

* My time in Japan (specifically, the way countryside)

* Fat stuff (because my readers emailed me and asked me to)

* Dating

* Anything else I'm in the mood to write about

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
