Omaha-Omaha-Omaha. Just to make sure you know the meeting is in Omaha. I apologize for having Lincoln in the address. The web site and I are having relationship issues.

Thor Schrock, CEO of Schrock Innovations will be sharing his opinions and ideas about blogging at our Meetup April 24th. he specifically wants everyone to know that he will be speaking on techniques that will help you market and monetize your blog.

Thor is also giving away free gifts to all of those in attendance that are easily more valuable than the $10 dinner. Wow! Dinner and presents!

We will meet at 6:30pm at Turnpost Creative Group, 17330 Wright Street, suite 200. This is the ad agency where Shawn Hartley works. It is about 1 block west of the West Omaha Upstream Brewing Company. Wright street is 1 block south of Center. Thank you Shawn for loaning us the space.

We will be having a dinner of lasagna, cheese bread, and salad with brownies for dessert and the fee is $10. Pepsi and diet Pepsi will be provided. Reservations are limited to our space which will hold 25 so reserve now.

Jeremy Schoemaker, CEO of Shoemoney Media Group and widely known blogger (shoemoney.com) about search engine marketing and optimization will be giving a presentation on search engine optimization. Jeremy has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times because of his expertise in these areas. Jeremy puts on his own Elite Retreat (eliteretreat.info)where he and other experts in their fields do an intense two day seminar for several thousand dollars per person. Put February 22, 2007 on you calendar for our first Meetup. Proxibid in Omaha, Ne will be doing a presentation to us about their company and what they do. You can check them out in advance at Proxibid.com. The meeting will take place in the training room of Lutz & Company, CPA's. (Look for their name on the building). Jeff Snyder of Lutz & Co. has generously offered his training room for our meeting. Assorted soft drinks and water will be served.
