Well, not only has the year started with a fantastic covering of snow, but another fantastic bloggers meetup. The New Year cheer was attended by over 50 LBM group members with plenty of new faces along with a handful of regulars. Thanks to everyone who came along and also to Tony Scott for his intro to Twestival.

The next meetup will be on Tueday 24th February and is being supported by our good friends from Bacardi Breezer. Not only is Bacardi going to be buying everyone a drink or two, they’re also running a fantastic competition to win vouchers for department store House of Fraser. How can I win these vouchers I hear you say... it’s all explained on the blog.

The venue has been finalised and as always it's in zone 1 and within easy reach of a tube station. We also now have a guest speaker in Simone Brummelhuis the founder of The Next Women blog.

Tis the season to be jolly and it’s also time for another London Bloggers Meetup. What’s more it’s the Christmas party edition!!
We’ve got a fantastic sponsor on board to help us all with a free glass of Christmas cheer. That’s right, our good friend Robert McIntosh of wine blog, wineconversation.com has decided to give everyone a wine tasting session to introduce some fantastic wines from wineries ... with blogs of course. Along with a tasting session, he’ll take a brief look at the benefits that blogging has brought to these wineries and maybe get some advice on wines for Christmas.

Of course, these meetups aren’t just about drinking wine, so those with a thirst will enjoy a free beer and soft drink too (Robert’s providing a good but limited tab, so don’t be too late!).
Along with all this wine related adventure, there will be the usual social and engaging group of bloggers just catching up about the wonderful world of the blogosphere. What more could you ask for..?

Welcome all to the next edition of the London Bloggers meetup. As usual it will take place on the last Tuesday of the month which in September is the 30th. That’s right, put the 30th in your diaries as you don’t want to miss out on this one, especially if you have any interest in cocktails (and blogging). In fact do we have anyone who blogs about cocktails in the group?

Our friends at Smirnoff have come on board to give everyone a cocktail lesson with one of their fabulous mixologists. Not only that, they have promised to try and design a custom cocktail to match the content of everyone's blog... I'm thinking a variation of a long island iced tea might match my blog..

As well as the cocktails, we will have the usual blend of networking opportunities for you all to catch up after the summer break. We don’t have any speakers yet, but if you'd like to make a short presentation then drop me a line. I'd be keen to hear from anyone who would like to spend a few minutes introducing their blog.

Welcome to the Bloggers Meetup - a social for bloggers to get out from behind their screens, meet other bloggers and enjoy a couple of beers.

We are being supported this time by our friends at mobile social networking site M3. They would like to show you all what they are about and get your feedback. They are also buying a handful of drinks for the first 20 to turn up - so it pays to be on time.

As requested by various group members I've arranged for a couple of members to stand up and talk at the meetup. Consequently the venue has moved back to the Coach & Horses which will make it easier for the speakers.

We have plenty of new members this month so I suspect it will be a lively meetup. I look forward to seeing the new faces and of course all the regulars on the 24th.

Hi Bloggers Meetup members,

The Spring Meetup is quickly approaching and it looks as though we'll be having a more social event this time - quite a relief after the heavy legal presentation last month. So bring yourselves along to meet with your fellow bloggers and enjoy a few drinks and blog related banter.

The venue will once again be the fantastic Coach & Horses in Soho. I had some fantastic reviews last time, most notably about having our own private fully staffed bar and of course they do some pretty good food - check out the fish finger sandwiches!!

Please don't forget to RSVP as soon as you can as we have a limit for the number of attendees and you wouldn't want to miss out.

I'm still working on a sponsor for this month to buy the beers so if you have any ideas, or represent anybody who might be interested in coming on board, please drop me a line.
